Functions:

Enforcement Division, the largest division of PTA, has an outreach to most parts of the country by virtue of its eight zones located in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Multan. Accordingly, Enforcement activities revolve around both on-field and off-field actions to enforce provisions of PTA’s Act, Regulations, SOPs and directions of Authority received from time to time all across the country.Enforcement division Communicates/coordinates with Armed Forces/Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on National Security matters and other Government Agencies on need basis. Monitors and checks the Quality of Service (QoS) of Mobile, ISPs and WLL operators. Enforcement division conducts physical inspections/Surveys of all Enforcement issues as and when desired by the Authority. Initiates action against illegal telecom services providers under the provision of the Act.
