Due to recent developments with country lock downs and many organizations preferring to encourage remote working to their staff as a result of this pandemic, GSMA is now offering a range of free online Capacity Building Training Courses to policy makers and governments in the APAC region through GSMA’s online portal. Every participant will receive a UKTA accredited course certificate upon completion of the course.

These Capacity Building online courses run from 3-5 weeks long and participants can take these courses at their pace. Most courses include live chat sessions where GSMA’s course trainers (subject matter experts) talk through questions participants have, and participants have the option of completing a final project to be marked by the course trainer on an area of their choice within their chosen course subject.

In these extraordinary times due to COVID-19, many organizations around the world, public and private sectors alike, have their staff working from home to avoid potential community mass infections from the virus.  In addition, many countries around the world are locking down their doors in a desperate attempt to contain the spread of this unique virus beyond their borders thus restricting international business travel and engagement activities.  In this climate, organizations around the world are trying out creative ways of working such as remote and home working utilizing the latest ICT technologies to maintain or even enhance staff productivity/knowledge through virtual offices, online meetings, projects and training.  The Online Capacity Building Course Schedule lists all the scheduled online courses from April until July.

Registration: Should you wish to have your organization’s staff participate in any of these online courses, all that needs to be done is to register for the courses through the GSMA Capacity Building Online portal.  To register and enroll onto these courses, please visit GSMA’s website at www.gsmatraining.com. Here you will see more information on each of the courses, their lengths, and there will be a button potential participants can click that says ‘enroll onto this course’.  Once you have registered their interest in one or more courses, GSMA will accept them onto the appropriate courses.
