Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and GSMA mutually agreed that the PTA may be declared as a ‘Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Regional Regulatory Training’ covering South Asia and Central Asian region. Under the Programme, PTA and GSMA will arrange and host international tuition free trainings, designed and delivered by GSMA and accredited by the UKTA on a variety of emerging topics of telecommunication and ICT development. This training serves to enhance the professional skills and knowledge of the government and regulatory professionals. The telecom/ICT regulators and Policy makers of the regional countries will also be invited to participate in the training programs offered by CoE.
