The Management Training program at PTA aims to provide practical knowledge to young graduates and develop potential leaders with desired competencies and providing on-job development for their present and future roles. Since, the launch of the Management Training program in PTA, a large number of graduates have been awarded Management Traineeship from time to time.

A six months long program will help fresh graduates to help in their conversion from the university into the organizational environment which can provide the stepping stone to enter in the professional arena.

Qualification:

Minimum Four years of graduation in technical/non technical discipline or Masters degree holder in technical/non technical discipline. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate will be eligible to apply for MTOs position at PTA after clearing the online test of at least 5 modules out of 7 modules on Big Data Science (as per the process prescribed by PTA). Applicant should have completed the graduation within one year at the time of applying.

Introduction of Big Data in Pakistan:  (A PTA led Initiative)

Big Data Science & Analytics generally deal with analysis, capture, data curation, search, sharing, storage, transfer, visualization, and information privacy. Various statistics suggest that Big Data Analytics has emerged as one of the top most demanded field of career for current and up-coming years. PTA has taken a proactive measure to launch Big Data initiative, aimed at:

• Sensitize the students and individuals seeking new careers about the concept, importance and use of Big Data Analytics
• Placing of graduates who have successfully completed at least 7 modules prescribed by PTA in its Management Trainee Program( wherever possible)
• To Create a workforce of Big Data University certified skilled workers, big data managers and specialists who can assist CMOs and companies offering Big Data solutions with their Big Data related projects

PTA conducts this test at least once or twice a month. Those students who wish to  participate in this certification program - they must take their test within PTA premises (Islamabad HQ, Zonal Offices Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar & Muzaffarabad) and submit the certificates to HR department of PTA.
