PTA Building Damaged
Islamabad (September 21, 2008) Powerful bomb blast at Marriot hotel has caused huge damage to the window pans and false ceilings of the nearby located Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) building.
The main entrance of the building, windows, doors and fixture of five floors have been damaged by the blast. Despite the widespread damage, luckily, no person was injured, as only security staff was present outside the building at the time of blast.
Chairman PTA Dr. Mohammed Yaseen visited the building on Sunday and supervised the rehabilitation work, which could take weeks to complete.
