In order to control the menace of unsolicited and obnoxious communications, the Authority directed all CMOs to ensure provision of Subscriber Level Voice/SMS blocking facility to the cellular mobile subscribers so that respective subscribers are able to have individual control over the blocking of unwanted voice calls as well as SMS through a short code. The subject facility is also available vide a monthly subscription of blocking facility. Following are the operator wise allocated short codes:
