Collaborations
Partnership with National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW)
Gender equality in the digital realm is essential for economic and social development. Recognizing the critical need for digital inclusion of women, PTA strategically collaborated with National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) for bridging digital gender divide in Pakistan by adopting multiple-pronged strategies to enhance women's access to mobile technology and digital services, with an emphasis on creating inclusive policies and fostering a supportive ecosystem.
Partnership with Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE) and The Inclusion Lab (TIL)
PTA established formal partnerships with Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE) and The Inclusion Lab (TIL) by signing Non-Binding Cooperation Agreements for Digital Gender Inclusion across Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K), and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). Both PAGE and Inclusion Lab have strong presence in the regions with limited access to education, low literacy rates and significant gender disparities. These organizations bring specialized expertise in imparting education to out-of-–school girls and promoting advocacy and awareness on digital inclusion.

PTA and DEMO
DEMO is the only organization from Asia to win over USD 1 million grant by the WiDEF - a fund established by USAID and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. DEMO will implement the 2-year grant to address Pakistan's gender digital divide, where only 26% of women have internet access, compared to 47% of men. This project will empower 10,000 women in government colleges through digiskills training, provide online safety chatbot for 52 million Whatsapp users in Pakistan and run advocacy campaign targeting 8 million social media users to bring about social and behavioral change.
