Functions:

The Regulatory Compliance & Operations (RC&O) Division of PTA is responsible for preventing the illegal use of local and foreign SIMs. It monitors and enforces regulations to curb unauthorized SIM issuance, fraudulent activations, and misuse of telecom services. The division works closely with law enforcement agencies, mobile operators, and other stakeholders to implement measures against SIM-related fraud, ensuring compliance with national security protocols and regulatory frameworks. It also oversees the implementation of verification systems, such as biometric authentication, to enhance telecom security and prevent illegal activities.
