Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) held an information session for the prospective bidders of next generation spectrum auction here in Islamabad today. Chairman PTA, Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Member (Finance) Mr. Tariq Sultan, representatives from Value Partners Management Consulting, senior officers of mobile operators and PTA attended the session.

Representatives of Value Partners briefed the participants about different aspects of upcoming auction process and arrangements for it being made by PTA. The consultation session provided professional analysis on the whole bidding process as per PTA’s Information Memorandum (IM) and for the successful completion of auction in a transparent manner.

The bidders showed keen interest in the upcoming spectrum auction for next generation mobile services in Pakistan.
